BORYSZEW GROUP AWARDED VOLKSWAGEN GROUP AWARD

Boryszew SA was the first Polish company to receive the prestigious Global Champion award given annually by the Volkswagen Group to its best suppliers.
Each year, Volkswagen's partners gather to honor the overall business performance of the company's top suppliers. Boryszew Group received the World Champion award, which is the most prestigious category.

"Boryszew is the first Polish company recognized as an equal partner of a world leader and makes us proud.It also shows that Boryszew's strategy is correct as we constantly build our automotive portfolio, " says Paweł Surówka, Member of the Board, who is in charge of automotive. "It was a great pleasure to receive the QND award to hear that Boryszew is " the world champion of the industry. " This makes our team the masters, " added Paweł Surówka.

Today, Boryszew supplies for major brands, mainly Golf, Passat, Octavia, Superb, Audi A3, Audi A4, Tiguan.

Volkswagen honored its most innovative component suppliers. Key factors were both extensive experience in providing new solutions dedicated to each production platform and the ability to manage the entire process including planning and execution. A gala took place at the Leipzig Porsche plant.

The awards were presented by Professor Martin Winterkorn, Chairman of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Group, and Dr. Francisco Javier García Sanz, Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AS.
