BORYSZEW: NET PROFIT OF PLN 204 MILLION IN 2017
In 2017, the Boryszew Group, one of the largest industrial groups in Poland, achieved a net profit of PLN 204 million and revenue of PLN 6.3 trillion, i.e. 11.5% more than in 2016.

Results after 2017
The Boryszew Group's net profit in 2017 was PLN 9.8 million higher than the previous year. The Boryszew Group's EBITDA amounted to PLN 469.2 million, and operating profit was PLN 335.4 million.
– “The positive results of 2017 are the result of the Company’s continuous development strategy and the expansion of its product portfolio. The higher revenue was associated with the improved economic situation in the automotive market, improved sales in the aluminum segment, and the overall improved microeconomic situation in Poland and the eurozone,” says Piotr Szeliga, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Boryszew SA.
Sales results and a development perspective
In 2017, the Boryszew Group generated PLN 6.3 billion in sales revenue, compared to PLN 5.6 billion in 2016.
– “These satisfactory results apply to all segments of our business. The largest revenue increase in the automotive market was seen by Maflow Group , while the investment plan implemented at our Konin plant had a significant impact on sales volumes in the metal segment; this investment plan allowed us to achieve production capacities of nearly 100,000 tons of rolled products per year,” explains the acting president of Boryszew SA.
As part of its long-term development strategy, Boryszew Group will focus on strengthening its market position. The Group anticipates an increase in its companies' assets and profitability, including an increase in shareholder value over the long term. Short-term activities and development plans focus on completing the investments made in the Group's companies and maximizing their impact, as well as continuing the organizational and ownership restructuring processes in response to changing market dynamics.
