The Port of Santander wants to have an automotive parts distribution center

Maflow Spain Automotive, Port Authority and manufacturers take the first steps.

The Port Authority is taking the necessary steps to ensure that its facilities at the Port of Santander also become a reception and redistribution point for parts and components for the automotive sector. Appropriate proposals have already been made to the Cantabrian parts manufacturers, in order to regroup the parts manufactured in the port facilities and send them to their final recipients, thus completing the logistics chain.

This measure will attract new investments that will add to the existing ones, helping at the same time to increase the competitiveness of SMEs, thus contributing to the development of the region. The initiative was presented to the manufacturers by the president of the Port Authority, Jaime Gonzalez; among these manufacturers it is worth mentioning the presence of Maflow Spain Automotive, Bridgestone, Robert Bosch Treto and Nissan among many others.
