Jorge Muyo highlights the innovative character of MAFLOW and sets it as an example to improve business competitiveness.

The general director of Innovation, Technological Development and Industrial Entrepreneurship visits the facilities of this leading manufacturer of automotive refrigeration components.

The general director of Innovation, Technological Development and Industrial Entrepreneurship, Jorge Muyo, has set as an example to MAFLOW Spain Automotive how investment in innovation and technology results in improved market share and national and international projection. Muyo yesterday visited the facilities of this company that is located in the industrial estate of Guarnizo and is part of the Polish business group Boryszew, one of the leading companies in the manufacture of components for refrigeration in the automotive industry worldwide.

In Muyo's opinion, "with examples such as MAFLOW, we can confirm the fact that technological innovation and the implementation of intelligent systems in industrial production lines improve working conditions, business competitiveness and create a new model of company and much more intelligent operators, in addition to reactivating the productive changes of the environment". The director of Innovation gave as an example the MAFLOW initiative as an important element when it comes to finding synergies and common projects with other productive sectors in the region, adding that it is "a model of open innovation that from my general management we want to support from the beginning", said Muyo.

The visit, which was also attended by a large group of businessmen from the Cantabria Association of New Information and Communications Technology Companies, including Enwesa's general manager, Mr. Pedro Ortiz, was aimed at showing the main developments that the company currently has underway in its different production lines, as well as its future plans and the actions it is developing to maintain its world leadership in the different markets it faces.

The plant's manager and Human Resources director, Marcos Díaz and Teresa Iglesias, respectively, showed the different production units of the factory, as well as the important technological developments that have been implemented, both in the production of the BORYGO automotive liquids line and in the robotization of the production systems of pipes and fittings for automotive air conditioning, where MAFLOW is currently a supplier of the largest automotive groups in the world.
