PSA completes capital increase for employees

The Group PSA Peugeot Citroën has concluded the capital increase reserved for employees from all over the world with the participation of 15,280 employees . The program, called "Accelerate," was announced on September 26 and ran from October 31 to November 17, 2014. The result was the issuance of 3,499,973 new shares , which brought the company's capital to €786,588,648.

As explained Philippe Dorge, the consortium's Human Resources Director , said, "I am delighted with this achievement. The large number of PSA employees who participated in the capital increase demonstrates their confidence in the company's financial reconstruction and in the 'Back in the Race' strategic plan. Employees have confidence in the future because they are the key players in this reconstruction. This result reflects strengthened social cohesion to prepare for the company's future."
