SODERCAN offers grants for R+D+i projects in the automotive sector

The Society for the Regional Development of Cantabriahas resolved the call for for R&D&I projects in the automotive sector, and will grant 369,000 and will grant 369,000 euros to seven companies in the sector.

The Regional Ministry of Industry and Innovation has considered it a priority to promote and encourage the execution of projects such as those proposed by Maflow Spain Automotive, Seg Automotive, Edscha Santander, GSW, Oran Workshops, Ecrimesa y Ukyfu Racing, which will mobilize an investment of more than one million euros.

The amount of aid for these projects varies according to the size of the company, reaching up to 70% for research projects and 45% for development projects; medium-sized companies may receive aid of between 35% and 60%; and large companies between 25% and a maximum of 50%. 

Among the technological challenges presented, Maflow Spain Automotive has opted for this call with a project of new technological solutions for the cooling tubular architecture of air conditioning systems in sports vehicles, with an investment of 143,425 euros that SODERCAN will support with 28,685 euros, 20%.
